These are parts I make, Originally I made them because I needed them for my own car but there has been a demand from other restorers for more parts. This is the only way I offset the cost of running this site and making more molds for parts. So if you provide me with a core to make a mold you not only get free parts you also help keep this site running.

Original caps where held on by friction fit cups on the wheel hub (probably why they did not survive) I can provide these for $5.00 more but suggest that you use silicone around the outer edge of the cap to glue it to the rim instead.

Replacement powercar frames are now available.

After many years someone is finally offering a replacement frame built like the originals but improved. It has the high mounted steering that the originals had that allows adults to fit and has the same dimensions as the original frames to fit original or reproduction bodies. It even has the hollow shaft steering to allow for horn wires to the center of the steering wheel.
Add the powertrain of your choice on the frame in the trunk area.
The one shown below has the optional floor mounted and outrigger body mounts.
cost per frame is $600, steel floor board $50 and outriggers $50.
Frames are built to order so they take a week or two depending on time of year.

Need a Junior part you don't see listed?

There are other people that make junior parts that have not sent me their list yet and I will send you to them. If nobody makes the part you want I will take on additional projects. Often other Junior collectors will loan thier parts to me so that I can make a mold to reproduce parts for juniors and I share the cost of creating the mold with the person that needs the part. This is a very low volume industry and some molds I have only made one part from so I am willing to put a little money in it if it can help someone and potentially have some more sales in the future. I can not however make full body molds unless someone wants to pay for the whole mold because it would take forever just to recoup my expenses.



Shipping lead times.

I do not stock any parts, I make them all to order! This is not a big international business, it's just me sitting on my couch in front of the tv making parts and trying not to get anything on the carpet. The equipment and molds take up enough room on thier own without trying to stock parts to anticipate orders. Fiberglass parts can take as long as two weeks to get made but most orders are about a week maybe longer depending on what I have going on in my life. This is not my full time job, I will not drop everything I am doing to make your order so don't bother asking!

Orders are made when placed not taken from stock so be paitent or order early.

Available original parts!

I have found that the original tires for the Mustang Jr. gas powered and adult electric are still available from the original manufacturer (Carlisle tire) they are a 4.10/3.50-5 2 ply tire that can be ordered though cedar rapids tire by calling them at. 1(800) 467-7325 they cost $10.21ea. and are part #519-0301 they have them in stock shipping was $9.73 within Iowa. They do not have the original Indian head insignia and they are marked slightly different but they maintain the original appearance of miniaturized car tire with the correct tread.

I also found that the Imitation park light and back-up light lenses on my 67 Mustang junior are made with standard 1 5/16" dish shaped automotive freeze plugs. You can pick these up from your local automotive parts store. My originals had the size stamped on the inside curve of the plug and the new ones are stamped on the outside so they will need sanded and painted before they are installed.
